Apps for work
Pepper notes that his practice involves “a tremendous amount of transactional and contract work, so I’m constantly reviewing documents.” To read and edit documents, Pepper likes QuickOfficePro. The app allows the user to create and edit Microsoft Office documents and comes with a WiFi file transfer tool. It is integrated with Huddle, SugarSync, MobileMe, Dropbox, Google Docs and Box.net. The app is available for the iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone, Android tablet, Symbian smartphone and HPwebOS. The iPhone app is $14.99. The iPad app is $19.99. (Affiliate links)
Another iPhone and iPad app that Pepper finds useful is Dragon Dictation. The speech-recognition app, which is free, allows the user to dictate emails and text messages quickly and easily. (To learn more about Dragon Dictation, read “How to Use Dragon Dictation on Your iPhone”)
App for fun
“I travel into New York City and Philadelphia a lot,” Pepper explains, “so I use the Best Parking app.” Best Parking is a free app that helps users locate the cheapest parking garages and lots in 39 cities and 79 airports.
